Well, I got impatient and started messing around. After scrolling through most of this thread the last month I was only able to find a few key measurements for things, most of what seemed like the relevant posts had broken image links attached.
So, I've done a bunch of guessing. But from those guesses I've rough spun a few parts on a lathe this week, a basic bull barrel and a section of the flash hider that has no detail or cone yet.

The plan so far, while having close to beginner skill levels on the metal lathe, is to make the cone and body separate and thread them together at the middle and then seat them both on the end of the bull barrel with tiny set screws.
Ahg.
Cutting both the inside and outside angles of the cone is the part that scares me the most, though, by hand and with no computer aid makes me want to throw up.
