ANH Han solo costume

Ive done a search, but I'm finding no love for the original Han solo costume. Anyone have info on it? ATM I'm curious for a shirt and vest.

I think there are very few pattrns and tutorials out there for that costume because it was so basic and simple to replicate, with the possible exception of the belt.

I have seen a couple places that can do the costume, Vince with Corlean Exports is one and the other is the Magic Wardrobe.

That fabled eBay seller has started making Han costumes. I ordered both his ESB and ANH. The holsters aren't bad for the price and are of real leather though I don't know what gun they were made to fit. The shirts, vest, and jacket were actually pretty nice and well made. Accurate too. But the pants were huge. The Medium size was supposed to fit a 32" waist and they seemed like 34-36 on me and I take a 30" usually. The tripes on his pants are incorrect as well.

But as a way to get a nice shirt and vest at a discounted price, just keep bidding on his acutions for the ANH costume until you win for a good sum. Sell the holster and pants.

I agree about the price/quality of the ebay Han costumes. I have the ESB set and I was able to make the pants work by removing the aweful stripes and sewing the legs together where the old stripes were and then sewing more accurate stripes over the seam like they should be. I got the stripes from a place online that sells a bunch of costume style patches. Doing this made the pants fit much better too.

What size waist are you if you don't mind me asking? I am thinking of doign the same thing with me eBay pants and wondered how much of a change I could get out of them.
