But, after seeing ESB, it bugged me that Tarkin could call Vader off from choking out Motti. In ESB, Vader answered to no one, save the emperor. He issued punishments on officers as he saw fit. And had his own agenda to rule the galaxy. I believe if Vader, had his ESB attitude in ANH. Motti's body would have been cleaned up by some naval trooper. And Tarkin would not have said a word.

Damn straight. I mean, who the hell did Tarkin think he was anyway? He should have been next for having the nuts to speak up.

In appearance, ESB looked better with the surcoat under the shoulder armor. And the cod piece riding lower. Plus the chest box lights just add a more mechanical feel. ANH made me want to put a quarter in the slots.

I totally agree. And that voice in ANH. :sick

Stunning work Gino. The kind of pictures that make you stay a while and just simply stare at. Amazing likeness to the Originals. Nicely shot too with great lighting.:thumbsup

Huge fan of the ANH myself as I wear one. Just love the way the under robes are worn over the shoulder armour and the shape and details of the helmet. It's a different look to the rest, just my personal fav.

I love all of them, I'm with ANH because... well, I don't know really, maybe the B&W pics I have seen of it makes me love it.

But I have room enough in my heart for ESB & RotJ :lol

PS: I know I have already posted which one is my favourite, but I wanted to see the pics another time and after posted here

At this point, the costumes for my ANH and ESB costumes are 100% completed. The ROTJ is complete with the exception of the helmet being painted which I plan to do this month or next.

In order to fully complete the displays, I have one last thing to do.
I have made the posable hands for all three, but now I need to figure out a way to attach them to the arms, and then do it.

At that point, I will take a crap ton of photos to document them. I'll do the ANH and ESB right away, the ROTJ will have to wait until the helmet is painted.

It will be interesting because it will be the first time I've ever been able to take pics with both hands exposed. I should be able to get some decent poses finally.

- But first, before I post the new show off thread, I am going to post a new thread that basically shows the long path I traveled to get to these finished pieces. It will show all the major incarnations of my vader display(s) since I first started in 1993.
I just looked at all those pics the other day when I was collecting them for the thread and it was something else. I think people will get a kick out of seeing them.

They were a total ***ch to have made correctly. Matching the capes/robes and the gloves to the screen used pieces were easily the most difficult aspects of all three costumes.

These gloves were the last piece of the puzzle.
