ANH & ESB Vader - almost done! updated 6.10.09 -glove pics post #177

After well over a year's worth of blood and sanity, I've finally received prototypes of my ANH and ESB/ROTJ gloves (only one side of each) that I am 99% satisfied with.

There's still one more round of changes but then I'll we'll be able to move onto the final sets.

For all three of my individual vader displays to be 100% complete, in regards to costume pieces, I only need to add the gloves to all three, and paint my ROTJ helmet (this spring/summer).

In regards to the mannequins, I still have to build up some proper hands.

In the following pics the hands are just temporary and don't really fill out the gloves properly. Hopefully you get the idea.

The next time I post a new vader pics thread, they will be complete.

Not even 1 set. Just one of each style. Still a couple of minor tweaks on them and they'll be good to go.
Other than the gloves there isn't anything else left.

I love the grainy look of the last 2. That **** Rocks out!

Definately the best ANH I've ever seen...... ESB Vader has always
been my favorite, but I would have to say ANH has got to be the hardest
version to Replicate and I think you've nailed it..............

I love your ESB Vader too, a lot....... But man the ANH version leaves me
speechless it's so good. I was gonna say that uncle George would be
proud, but then I thought about that abortion he allowed to be filmed in
ROTS, he's definately not a trilogy Vader fan lol

Yours are truly a role model to anything vader for me,i just cant believe the patience you took for all of this,but its worth it.
I guess its all been accurate down to the stiches:love

verrrry cool stuff Gino.
I always loved Dave's porportions...how his belt rides high enough and he can rest his wrists like that...makes me jealous.

Maybe off topic, but how do you clean? I have my Vader suit on display in my game room and it gets dusty (like everything else in my house). We run hepa filters for the furnace/ac, air purifier, and a Dyson sweeper and we still get lots of dust. On my Vader, Blockbuster Spidey, etc, I just use the soft little brush tool for my Dyson and if need be, do a wipe off with soft rag.

With your stuff...I'd have to build a glass cabinet
