Anakins Pod Racer

Here is my version of anakins pod racer.
The only modes I did to this one is I replaced the hoses with Bass guitar strings (the kit parts were too much of a pain) and painted the strips on the pod.
Let me know what you think, comments are always welcomed.

Nice and clean build, yes maybe just a little bit too clean but it still looks good.

Thanks for the feedback. I did notice in the photos that the engines did look alittle clean, they are dirtier in person. I took the photos in natural light and the exposure was a little long. I think that's why the shades didn't come through. But it's a pod racer, it could always be dirtier.
I may do another one in the future, I have another kit that I was going to use for parts.
I would definately make that one look like it just won the race, maybe even a diorama through tattoine canyons or something.
I'll add it to the list of projects that's getting a mile long it seems like.

I really wish they had gotten to do the Sebulba podracer, that way people could do more complete dioramas

I think it looks better with more subtle weathering. most weathering becomes more extreme when photographed, imo.

Im pretty sure is the other way. Photographs tend to wash out the weathering.
