Anakin Skywalker costume- point me in the right direction

So, Halloween is fast approaching and I find myself with nothing. Looking around, I was toying the idea of doing Anakin Skywalker. I've looked around ebay of course, but don't know very much about the sellers. I've heard way too many stories about sellers that make costumes taking months to get a costume out and never offering a refund.

I'm not in need of 100% screen accuracy, just something that looks good, isn't horribly over priced and would arrive on time. Anyone have any ideas where to look? ...too bad I never learned to sew.

There is no such thing as 100% screen accurate costume. Only if you possess the screen used.

If you want screen accurate costumes, I can suggest sonsofthesuns.com. That's the only place to get perfect Anakin costumes.

I can't speak for needing for Halloween.

Thats the best place for info. But I don't know much about ready made stuff, especially this close to the date.

Yes, SOTS is the place to go if you're looking to piece together an accurate costume. But, that's the fairly expensive and long route. Unless you've got $800-$1000 in hand and you're willing to read every page of text on the forums and e-mail several sellers, you won't have a good one in time for Halloween.

However, you said accuracy isn't your main concern, just that it's affordable and will arrive on time. The only one-stop-shop that fits that bill will be the eBay user Cosplayying. It's not a great costume but it's passable. Several Anakins from our site (SOTS) started with this costume and upgraded over time.
