Raven,
So here we are. October 14th, 2009. My original order was placed August 27th
2008.
The last message I had from you (via eBay, dated Oct 6, 2009) expressed surprise
that I had not yet received my tunics as you had sent them out. You did not
state when you had sent them (though I did ask you), through what carrier you
had sent them, or whether you had requested tracking/signature confirmation when
you supposedly sent them out. I have now come to the realization that I'm never
going to have the tunics I asked and paid you for over a year ago.
I have to say that I have no reason to believe that the tunics where ever sent
out, or indeed even completed, as you have several times over the last year
clamed that "They're done. I just need to send them out." but then contradicted
yourself by then stating that you had just received the fabric and were going to
start on them. I don't know if that's crazy or just really disorganized, and
actually, I no longer care.
You know, in March of this year (now almost over), I gave you a second chance to
make this situation better, even going as far as giving you a small extra
payment to cover the cost of shipping the two new tunics back to my home. It is
now painfully obvious that I have played the fool quickly parted from his money.
And regardless of what your stated intentions were, you never had any intention
of honoring my order. I am weary of constantly checking my mail box like an
excited kid only to be disappointed again and again, and it's left me bitter and
distrustful of doing business with a costumer over the internet ever again.
Thanks for that. I guess your not really an adult until you've been ripped off
by somebody. Caveat Emptor indeed.
I sincerely hope that you would read this and feel...something approximating
guilt and shame. Shame enough to never do this to another customer ever again.
I somehow doubt it, but I can hope. I also hope that others can learn from my
mistake and can avoid the year of frustration and anger that I've experienced.
If all I've gained for the almost two hundred dollars I've lost, is that one
other person is saved from your scam, then I guess I got something for my money
after all.
Live long and Prosper.
John
