An old costume revisited...Trinity from The Matrix

[Star Wars Chick]

Been cleaning out closets and found some of my older costumes that were packed away and Trinity was amongst them. I was pretty proud of this costume as I altered patterns and sewed it myself- this pvc vinyl is VERY tough to sew and is not very forgiving of mistakes. I even came up with a way to do the lace up back just like on the original suit she wears in the film. Well, I only wore this once...for Dragon Con '03 and have very few pictures in it, all of which are yucky con pics. Best of all, it still fits and was even a bit too loose and we had to clothespin the back of the top so it fit better :lol So...... Braks broke out the camera and we decided to do some REAL pics of this costume. Here they are along with a comparison pic of it from Dragon Con '03:

The only problem with your costume is you're like 1000x prettier then Carrie Anne Moss.

Well, after seeing how it looked in my pics from D*con, I just really didn't want to wear it again as I didn't feel that it really worked for me. My hair wasn't right and I felt I was too short and curvy to carry off the look of Trinity that Carrie Anne Moss brought to the character.
