Haven’t seen the film yet, but looking forward to it. The one thing to my mind about Spiderman which is a plot hole you could drive the Death Star through is the web shooter.
In the comics (and recent films) he’s always been struggling to make ends meet with his income. Surely developing a gadget such as this and selling the rights to the military would set him up for life?
At least the last trilogy has the web shooting ability as something his body did rather than a ‘weapon’.
As I say, I’ve not seen the film yet, so there may be a plausible way that he comes by these.

It's one of the tragic parts of the Spider-Man character - he had such potential in the scientific field, and you regularly see both Reed Richards and Tony Stark recognizing this in the comics, but he's got a sense of duty that makes him dedicate pretty much every moment of his free time to fighting crime and helping people. It's like an athlete who gets a scholarship to a Big Ten school, but stays at home to take care of his family. It's great and honorable of him, but still sad at the same time.
Anyway, sorry, this is a discussion for Movie section. As to the web-shooter in question, would love to see focused pics! It looks great so far. Do you have a pair of them? Are they built out of an actual watch, or molded, found, etc...?
I was just having this discussion with someone. I think the whole point is that Peter Parker WOULD have been a multi-millionaire Bill Gates/Steve Jobs/Tony Stark type, but getting his powers took him away from that path, and being given the "With great power comes great responsibility" mandate by his uncle ensured that he wasn't going to use any of his gifts, radioactive or otherwise, for purely personal profit. Tony Stark had the benefit of having already used his brain to become crazy wealthy BEFORE he received his mandate to make a difference.

Thanks!Yes it is built from an actual watch, no molding. I am working on getting the web fluid back piece and the battery pack for the side as well as gears.
