Am I the only one already wanting another Spider-Man reboot? (Spoilers)

You are not alone, But for different reasons than me. I cannot STAND the current incarnation of the franchise. I still will watch the movies to give them a fair chance but the kid playing PP/Spiderman is just plain AWFUL IMHO. I thought the first round was pretty good for being Tobey McGuire and could even tolerate Kirsten Dunce (barely) But what ruined that franchise for me was friggin James Franco. Hopefully third reboot will be the charm. But I highly doubt it.

I hate to say it but after killing off a major character, Spiderman AGAIN needs a reboot. Actually, there are two problems they are constantly facing with the franchise. They try to shock with killing off characters. STUPID. Second, they try to do a spectacular film by adding so many villains that the characters and story lines fall apart. How about centering on ONE bad guy and develop the characters and story, how hard can that be to do?

But... given Sony cannot figure that out despite everyone telling them the killer to the franchise has been too many bad guys in one film for every frickin film... Either they reboot or let Disney take over and buy them out.

Which by the way, they are now in negotiations for:

So, if Sony could only get the Michael Bay wannabees out, they could have a chance at saving the franchise but looks like Disney may ride to the rescue on this one.

Spiderman needs a reboot at a studio other than Sony's, i don't think it's going to be done right until Marvel studios/disney gets the rights back. I really liked the first 2 Raimi movies. This is true of all marvel properties: sony can't get it right. I really liked the first Fantasic Four too but then it went downhill.

Here's why Rami's Spider-Man will always be tough to beat:
