I was thinking about this last night, and I can't figure this out as it's not really something that IMDB lists.
I was wondering, how do you know what prop shop does what piece for what show?
I hardly ever see a listing in a movie that details a shop name, and virtually never on TV, yet I see screen used piece discussions pop up and people refer to which shop made what item and when they did it. Things like the trooper armor, or who did the fx on the Superman movie, etc.
Is it something that you find out at conventions, or something that comes on a tag from buying a screen used piece? More a question of who you know or friends you have?
