Hi there fellow makers.

I try to make a working Joe costume from ALIEN: Isolation.

As of now i have a similar Jacket and a quite fitting Mask. Cloves and a neck-tube are on the way.

Next step is the "Seegson" Patch and I search a way to make the eyes light-up but still be able to see through.

I keep you postet

Looking good! I made this same costume but I modded a Dickies work jacket. where did you get the mask? I searched far and wide for a white plain mask and couldn't find one. I ended up sculpting and casting my own.

Yes i looked everywhere till i stumbled over this. But she seems sold out now

Heres the link, anyway:

Have you some images of the finished costume?

I wanted to do this costume also but never could find a good mask. The one you have looks perfect but to bad the site no longer offers it. I would send them an email, but I assume the site is German based. I don't know enough German to be able to write to them.

I also had the idea of recording bits of working Joe dialog and having it on an MP3 player and just have it playing at random while it's hidden in a pocket.

I would suggest using some sort of mesh in the eyes and having it lit from behind with LED's, but it doesn't look like there's much room between your eyes and the eye holes in the mask. Does anyone make flat/disc shaped LED's?

Try Greyland Masks, looks like one of theirs.

Here is the mask I made. It ain't perfect but it gets the point across. I did figure out a crappy way to light up the eyes with EL wire outlining the eyes. I do still have the mold and can always make more.

Did one of you create this costume? Is it something I could have another one made for my son and pay you for it? John

Does anyone here wanna make some money? I’m trying to get my son a working Joe costume for Christmas, although I’m sure he’d be happy to have it late. He is either an XL or an XX L

Thank you for your interest. Sadly mine isn't finish yet. I had to move my workshop to another, smaller location and since then it's in storage. I don't think i can help you with that.

I recently bought a Working Joe costume off a friend from the UK. He had a seamstress who specializes in cosplay costumes build it. I will look for her contact info in case it would be helpful.

Here is the tag inside the coat. She really did a great job on it.
