'Aliens' floor grating?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a piece of metal flooring like the grating used throughout Hadley's Hope in 'Aliens', 'The Abyss', 'Outland' etc.
The square tubular kind that Hicks cuts through to try and rescue Newt.

I only need a piece about 12" X 24" for a display I'm working on.

Any thoughts or ideas on where I could acquire a piece or even what the stuff is called so I can find some?

Though it looks like metal it's actually a plastic cargo pallet. These were also used in Star Wars:

Sweet. I'll heard that they were industrial pallets and used again and again on various productions. They must have had metal ones for the welding & torch cutting scenes but plastic will work even better for me. Not as heavy and easier to cut etc.

Here's some screen caps of the floor grating.
The first 2 are caps from Hadley's Hope, the third is from the Sulaco when the Queen is grabbing the floor to get at Newt.

Hopefully I can find some of this.

I'll probably never find the right stuff so I'll just make a piece myself, probably out of either square aluminum tubing or steel.

I have spotted the same plates from car Ad's to Babylon 5. Set designers seem to love them.

My dream was always to have my whole collectors room done like that with some up lights etc. I would love to have an original one from SW but that price is a bit steep for me.
