What I meant is... is your prop based on a real Rexim-Favor or is based on a replica?
Thanks for the links though, should have known to check on Propsummit, another goldmine of information. Again, compliments on the prop, personally I think it's the coolest looking sci-fi pistol! (and it didn't even have much screen time or seen in action)
Jedi Wars said:My SS Alien Queen bust and HCG Pulse Rifle. Really like the Pulse rifle and it has no droop at all. I still need to hang the B&W poster of Sigourney Weaver and the Alien Queen.
I also just got the HCG Alien head but I wasn't too thrilled with it.
Thanks Skin job. The guy certainly did a nice job with replicating that weapon.
Jedi Wars, are you not scared to knock down that pretty Queen's torso by having it so near to a door? I get the sweats just looking at it :lol
The original poster said "Alien and beyond" so I also guessed it could have been from any of the three... ehm four films.

There were only three...and a few really godawful fan films :angel
It's funny how Aliens has slipped down in my affections over the last few years, and how I've come to see 3 as a pretty damn good movie (only the extended print tho')
Aliens, while still a kick-ass action sci-fi movie hasn't really aged that well, imho.
I never liked the Queen, it looked godawful clumsy and overdesigned, and was at the heart of the problem I have with Cameron's take. He turned them into bugs. Horrific lethal ones, but still bugs.
Scott's original conception of a completeley self-reproducing nightmare with weird sexual connotations was far more frightening and mysterious. If he kept the cocoon sequence, I wonder how the rest of the movies would have panned out.
I guess Cameron would have just retconned it.
WOW, very cool !!!
:cool
it's the first time I see something like that... Do you have any idea where they were used in the sets ? The one on the right looks familiar... seen on the bridge, maybe ?
Fred

The panels on the left in my photo were used all over the Gateway Station sets,
The 4th film was made by the guy who made 'City of lost Children' and 'Delicatessen' which I love.

I don't really collect alien(s) stuff (much as I love it all) but have a couple vac formed wall panels. I've had these for years from when the moulds were still at Pinewood, although a couple have got a little crushed at the back of my garage..
