Alien Romulus Pulse Rifle?

I'm not sure about the behind the shoulder stock thingy. Parts for parts sake, and make it look more techno for the fans maybe. Still love the design though. Better get back on the Computer and get cracking. :).

According to NECA, this thing is called the F44AA Pulse Rifle:

Very cool :cool::cool:...but for the two screws at each end of the handle...they should be smaller in circumference. ;)

The 3d models etc people are doing are so amazing with the limited info. The lack of real gun parts still takes me out of the actual prop. Its what made the M41a so believable. I can't shake its a painted Nerf blaster. If even the trigger group, stock and front vents were gun metal it would sell it for me. I'm just being fussy.

100%. Nothing wrong with being fussy. I've been thinking of doing a build in the classic PR colors just to see it next to my others. Folks who ran with the info they had are top notch, and I agree they've done amazing work. I've enjoyed seeing people try and figure it out.

I am amazed at how good they are doing with only the trailer as reference.

We had a slight advantage. The company I work for has a license to produce them, so Disney provided us with photos, showing pretty much every angle and close up of the screen used rifles. And before anyone asks… I cannot share them. Disney watermarked every photo with our names so if they get leaked, they know exactly who passed them around. I’m not risking losing the license, and my job, over photos.

It looks very neat, a bit fussy with all the greeblies but an iconic shape and white color nevertheless. The designation (and the shape and color) indicate it's not really a military issue carbine more of a civillian sub machine gun type thing. I still think nothing beats the original and am sad that the ultimate iteration of the Pulse Rifle we saw from Blomkamp never came to be.

Still in my headcanon there's no reason both of these can't exist in the same universe.

What's interesting is if Alvarez actually has the F44AA as less powerful than the 10mm explosive tipped armor piercing M41A, and the characters struggle to blow apart Xenomorphs as quickly as in Aliens 1986. Logic dictates the F44AA should be less powerful than the M41 seeing as it's a decades older design.

Any chance that we'll get a metal version akin to the OG Aliens version?
