I've bought 3 guns and many accesories from these guys in the last few months. Great customer service, great pricing, and the flat rate $5.99 shipping is awesome for those of us on the East coast. All my orders have arrived in two days from the time of ordering.
redwolf airsoft was where I got the 2 KWC 45's to make my punisher colts, even had the extender already on, they are standard barrel length and the extender not the long barrel version, but they turned out real well after I painted the silver highlights as they were shown. got 2 from them and shipped for less than for I could get one here without shipping.
shortyusa and redwolf are both great, haven't dealt with the others. Also, if you're looking for cheap guns, try www.affordableairsoft.com. Don't forget to check out your local wally-world as well if you're looking for spring guns. I picked up the KWC licensed S&W 4506 a couple weeks ago for $19.99.
CA guns in general are top notch, they are in the habit of releaseing things and letting the consumer find out whats wrong and then fixing them in later generations but they have been out for a while so you should be safe. as for the 9.6 volt battery (try http://www.wgcshop.com/ for good selection of batteries ) get a large forgrip that holds a large battery and if you skirmish it will last you all day..
I also recommend Wargamers Shop. They have good service and are fast with delivery. The orange paint on barrel is easily removed (if you want to) and trademarks covered with removable putty tape. I am a collector and plinker myself and I like my guns looking authentic like the real thing. I have a Tokyo Marui G36 and its pretty solid but not as powerful as the CA version which they are based upon (copied).
1) Wargame Club
2) Den Trinity
3) www.airsoftshop.com
4) Redwolf (their checkout process is retarded)
ShortyUSA stocks cheap guns. They don't carry any of the good Japanese brands.
Airsoft Extreme is pretty good. A little expensive but about the same to get a AEG shipped from Hong Kong.
Classic Army makes decent guns. They had some horrible quality control issues when they first started out. Even now, I would rank their guns 4th behind Tokyo Marui, G&G, and even STAR. I personally would pay extra to get a Marui and upgrade it.
Plus, CA guns do not resell well. You will always find a buyer for a Tokyo Marui gun.
G&G is a relatively new company in the AEG market. They made mostly parts previously. However, they guarantee their guns. If you buy one and it breaks, they will replace the entire thing for free.
Here are some canadian retailers i know of. I've never bought from any of them but if you want to know more about these retailers I suggest you visit the airsoft canada forums.
Can anyone recommend a good online airsoft store? I havent bought many airsofts in the past, but I want to get a couple good guns/rifles to play with.
