Airsoft DL-44

So about a month ago I completed what I think (please correct me if im wrong) a one of a kind build. A fully functioning airsoft gas blow back DL-44. Now I didn't use things from around my house to build it I went ahead and purchased the kit from Dark Energies Creations. Waited the 6 months for the kit and slowly assembled it with the help of a good friend of mine who actually did most of the work So I can't take all the credit. The base model is a KWC M712 Mauser. I know its not the most correct model but due to whats available, price and replacement parts this was easily the best choice.

Please don't hate on me too much for having it not the most correct model but im very happy with it. the most beautiful airsoft pistol ever created if you ask me. As this is airsoft and I fully use it on the field more weathering will occur naturally.

Thank you! eventually ill get like high quality pictures of it. I ordered an old aluminum military box to use as a case so pictures with that will be the next big thing and possibly getting a ''tactical'' holster for or relying on the a good quality leather one. Which for true running around and stuff I don't think I would trust because of how heavy this blaster is.

awesome work! that model, to get technical, was the kind used in Ep 7 anyway hahaha

that's great you used a DEC kit, are those airsoft pistols metal too? I know how heavy that mount is.. :D

Oh yeah... Just call it the DL-44 from TFA and you'll be good... Hahaha. It looks great. How about some video of this this firing?

Here's a question. How did you work around the front post for the mount? I have a nut inside my Denix, and can imagine that getting in the way of a magazine.

Because mine is not real steel and the size is different then that of a normal prop C96 I simply cut off part of the outer barrel and then dremeled down the bottom part of the barrel that connects to the upper receiver to make it flat so the bull barrel could slide over.
