Airbrush paint

Hey guys im getting ready to start my alien and was wondering whats the best paint to use with an airbrush? i was gunna go for

this stuff but its awefull expensive.

I have been using Reeves acrylic paint for airbrushing and hand brushing, it is a good quality paint and goes a long way when used for airbrushing, I just thin it down with water until it gets to the right consistency and it sprays very easily. If you buy an assorted pack you can mix up custom colours no probs. They also do a 4 pack of metallic paint with bronze, copper, gold and silver

Around £20.00 should get a set of 10 75ml tubes.

The pre mixed stuff is fine but doesn't go a long way and as you say is expensive.

Best stuff to use is badger freakflex and wildlife taxidermy paint.look at my stuff and tell me I'm wrong.there's a lot of stuff u could wrap ur brain around,but you'll wind up with so much hodge podge crap and an empty wallet.ask me in detail why these paints work and I'll go in detail.most acrylic will get the job done,but making sure they are airbrush friendly is important.a lot will clog because they r meant to stick the moment they disperse in an atomized pattern.if they don't-u will encounter runny,non adhesive paint without prosaiding the heck out of it.

I spray createx acrylics right out of the bottle. No mixing or thinning needed. As long as you watch your air pressure and take your time you shouldnt have any blowout or runny paint issues. Its not a race so, take your time and try all kinds of paints. Each person has a different style to painting and the right materials to accomodate that style.

I use FWINKS, after a base layer of prosaide has been applied, you can thin these even though they are inks and very thin already.

Use what you are happy with, there are many ways to spray latex , so no 1 right or wrong way.
