AGL Long Colt(Vash's Gun)

Alright, so i'm going to buy a resin kit of Vash's Gun, and I wanted opsionos on which to get. I know of three models, one made by Dai-Nippon-Gaiken, Alice Vice(something like that) and Posideon Co. Now, none of those makers a selling them anymore, at least, not in the US. I currently know of two. One, is the SidKit version. But, I have heard my share of things about SidKit... The other, is on the site www.rookscastle.org The one on there, is a reproduced version of the Posideon resin. And its at a good price. $120.00. While the one on SidKit is $160.00. Now, the one on sid kit, differs from the Posideon one, in the Cyliner length, width of the revolver, and the Grip. BUT, this model, comes with the M19 parts so that the Hammer and Trigger work. Now, the one Rook has, is a beautiful resin. Posideon make great kits, and im glad he chose thiers. Only problem, his comes with a Solid Cast trigger assembly. No hammer or Trigger action. Now, some of you may think, well *****, its just a hammer and trigger. But, i would like to have that. And I have found no was of location the Tokyo Mauri M19 for conversion, and even then i dont know how to convert it. So my question is this. Should I go with the SidKit, or the Posideon?

Ok first off let me just correct a few minor things.

#1, it's Vice Alpha.
#2 Dai Nihon Giken and Poseidon are the same company.
#3 It's Vash's Eagle Arms (the wings on both sides of the AGL are Es)

Ok now onto the rest. The Sidkit gun is a recast of the Vice Alpha gun. It does NOT come with the M29 because the Vice Alpha gun wasn't a kit. It was a completed gun and Sidkit recast the whole thing.

Rook's version is a recast of the Poseidon/DNG gun but you can toss out the solid parts and still build it on top of a TM M29 cap gun. I may have some connections to get more M29's but I'll have to check.

The Poseidon gun is more accurate to the anime and the Vice Alpha is supposedly more accurate to the manga. My choice go with the Poseidon style, it just looks better overall.

Okay thanks. Eagle Arms? Lol. It's Angel Arm because that is the name of the weapons that gun is transformed into. But yea, I was leaning more and more to the Posideon Version. And I you can find me any resources, that would be great.

LOL no trust me, it is Eagle Arms. Eagle Arms is the name of the company that supposedly manufactured the base gun in the anime, though Knives said he made them, he really just modified the Eagle arms to have the powercell to become the angel arm. You can see that it says Eagle on the side of the gun when you get one or I can scan the one I have left.

There are more versions of his gun out there but they are from Trigun Maximum and also no longer made. If you want more info on the guns just ask for what you want and I can pretty much tell you anything about them. So far I've built five (about to be six) Poseidon/DNG anime version guns, 2 of the Poseidon/DNG Maximum version gun (uses Tanaka M29 airsoft gun), and I have seen the Alpha in person (though I never wanted one myself).

Wait a Minute. I though I knew that name. Youre Ryu from AbbyShot right? You posted those pics of your badass Manga and Anime versions. Those are awesome. I decided to go with the Posideon Re-Cast, after doing some more research. After all, Posideon just does amazing work, so you cant pass it up. Oh, and I didn't know you we're referring to the base gun, I thought you mean what was actually printed on the Gun. I've also been looking into modifying it to fire. I was going over some of the Japanese conversions, and noticed that they seemed to be built off the same gun. The only problem was the Inverted Barrel. The first one I looked at, and used some crazy complete custom job to make it fire out the bottom. Oh, and if you don't mind, you think you could sign on MSN sometime? There's some other things I wish to talk to you about, if that's Alright. And I promise it's nagging you were to buy stuff

LOL yep that's me and I don't mind the questions. I can only help so much, I've yet to modify an airsoft into the anime version but I don't think it's beyond my capabilities. After doing the manga version and the Hellsing gun I think I could tackle one. I have some ideas that may help but require lots of work. I'm sure I can sign on MSN. What's your name on there?

And Eagle is printed on the side of the gun, it's just the iconography of the wings that makes some think it's just AGL. We can talk more about it on MSN.

Sure, we can swap Ideas. I'll show you the pics I do have. Although the notes are all in japanese. the conversion for the Manga is what had made me mad. they have the nerve to do the Mange, not the Anime...
