Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I was messing around with WWII style military/government ID's and found a blank, messed around with adding typeface to it and a picture along with a few signature fonts. And here's Capt. Rogers SSR ID, I have since then messed with the coloring and blending of the edits. But only have the original edit on this pc and wanted to share it here. If you're interested in the full edit let me know.
Feedback is welcome and accepted, I might try Agent Carter next.

I have a high res jpg of the NYCC Bus blueprint (3825 x 2550). I found it somewhere online... Haven't had a chance to print it large-format yet, but the sizes I have printed including some zoomed in sections were very nice.

Thanks for the followup. I have started using this file as a base for a vector of this poster. I have identified the font used for all the "hand written" parts as 'Architext BB' but have not identified the other fonts yet. My guess is that I have 4 fonts in total. The first is the handwritten font mentioned already, one is used for the CXD 23 in the upper right hand corner, one is the sans font used in the information box in the lower right corner that includes the Stark Industries logo and more of hand written fornt, and the last I think is whatever font is used in the old and new S.H.I.E.L.D. crest logos. My working file uses a placeholder for everything, as I have not bought Architext and don't know where to get it for free. My vactor is currently scaled for a 32" x 48" so I can print it on the 36" printer i have access to. I am going to assume that everything in this file is brown ink on tan paper, and as such I have added a tan background just for working. With that said, I will do a few sample prints because I am pretty sure I will want to go with a lighter brown in the final print on the tan paper, but only time and testing will reveal that.

I will include a WIP of my poster as it stands right now. I fully intend to leave off the edition number plate "___/300" and the Mavel Comics and ABC copyright line. I have made a change to the area where the "Tailwing" meets the fuselage to correct what looks like an error to me. If anyone needs before/after of this just to see what I am talking about, please let me know. Sadly I dont have access to the original poster, so I am guessing a lot at the small details. This initial pass will be good enough that anyone who sees it on the wall wont know it is not an original, but will just enjoy it for what it IS. If I ever have access to high quality photos of the original, or other definitive resources, I will update this project, but for now, I just want something this cool hanging in my office.

As you can see, I have the outlines done for the silhouette of the plane in aerial and profile and have started on the interior styling. I have finished Coulson's office and have finished about half of the second floor. There is just SO much going on in the cockpit that I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could send me a high res/high quality picture or scan of just the cockpit area. I will be moving on to first floor and then the profile when I am done here. Everything you see in this file is a vector that I created. I have a zillion layers here trying to keep it all straight. I really love the inclusion of both the new and old S.H.I.E.L.D. crest logos in the upper left hand corner. Creating those was a fun experience. To create the radial dashes around the outside I just created a dashed line with very short dashes, and a very wide stroke width. I think it worked out well, but I would like feedback from anyone who has any.

Logistics is spelled incorrectly :p aside from that it looks great so far! The font used in the SHIELD logos should be one of the iterations of Gotham, unless they use a different one in this poster. Any chance you could post the vector files to those core logos without text? It would be a big help since I'm planning to get back to work on my ID template set after finals :)

Here are both logos in one file (in both .AI and .EPS). I can gladly remove the text but I left it in so you can just change the font to GOTHAM They are center justified so changing the font/size/kerning should not change the alignment. Sadly I do not have any of the GOTHAM fonts and have not spent any time looking for them. If you really need the file without the text, PM me and I will gladly send it.

EDIT: FILES UPDATED - I changed the font to the correct Gotham Medium and adjusted the kerning to correctly match the logos as the appear on the scan of the NYCC poster as best as I can match. I also readjusted the outside dashed line to be as close to the exact spacing as I cold match. To create this effect, what I did was to create a dashed line with a wider stroke weight (10.911pt) then dash and gap lengths (1.818pt dash and 3.11pt gap) but this will scale as long as you select to scale line weights. Alternatively, you can outline the stroke, but I elected not to do this to give you all better edit-ability if you need/want it.

I have just about finished the CXD 23 poster as seen behind Agent Coulson's desk aboard "The Bus." I still have to replace the comic sans (yes i know how bad it is, I did it on purpose) with Archi Text BB but I do not own this font.

I will post it as a fully editable vector as well as a jpeg file for anyone who wants it.

I do not have the best scan in the world, and would love to improve this even more. If any one has the original NYCC poster and would be willing to share detailed scans or photos, I would be most grateful.

Here is the vector I have been playing with. Again, I know not all the forts are right, but that should be easy to fix for anyone who owns the fonts.

Additionally, I have been creating ID cards that I have seen in the show. here is a picture of the Agent Coulson ID But I have information for a lot more. I can post them a few at a time if people are interested. I will try to list what episode I get the information from this might also serve as a bit of an archive and history of the badge designs, as they seem to change from time to time. Any one have any input on this?

This is close to the original. We see Coulson's badge (Along with Agent Ward's and Agent Hill's) in digital form in the Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot" at the 7:45 mark. I do not have the correct picture for Agent Coulson but this one worked for now.

This is my take on the ID card, and not 100% accurate. I have simulated a hologram seal just for fun. I also do not have a high resolution copy of the correct photo. If anyone has that, please send me a PM or post it here.

Here's some really high res scans I made of the modern and classic SHIELD logos taken from the Agents of SHIELD: Season One Declassified book and the Iron Man 3: Iron Manual book. I will try to make vector versions myself but those of you out there who are better than me when it comes to working with Illustrator can give it a go. Be forewarned, these files are huge (200+ MB).

The page that the classic logo is on also has a pre-Avengers SHIELD ID attached so that's there too if you want it :)

Here's some low res previews of the scans:

**My home internet connection is currently too slow to upload the scans anywhere at a reasonable speed, I'll try going to my University campus tomorrow and see how fast I can upload them using their internet, sorry guys!**

When they are uploaded i can do the vectors no problem ;)

Sounds good! With the classic logo do you think you could figure out a way to trace the path of the seams in the center "shield" part? Like the path would follow the seams between the bars and the outline of the shield not just the bars themselves. It would allow for more flexibility for anyone using the vector file, know what I mean? :p
