AFX Helmet or MR CE UK Stormtrooper??

Title says it all....I really want to start getting Stormtrooper armor together, so which would be best and affordable....the CE is pretty expensive to ship overseas...and I've got a good price on an AFX kit so which one??? Any questions???? Thanks!!!!

In my humble opinion, the MR 'budget' helmet is totally worth the money, I assume your talking about an FX kit? Consider that you would have to build/paint that whereas the MR is ready to go and is a lot more true to the originals, I got on of the MR helmets and it is sturdy and solid and it looks great next to my other 'accurate' trooper helmets and I would definitely troop in it! :thumbsup

The MR is more to scale than the FX helmet which is way oversized,neither are accurate in shape although i personally think the MR has a nicer look,as for durability both are sturdy.
I should imagine though for the cost of the MR with shipping etc you could purchase something like an AP helmet kit which is much closer to the originals than both the MR or FX.

So, as someone metioned AFX or FX stormtrooper helmets - what do folks think of their complete armor set?

It includes the helmet and most all of the bits and pieces to make a full stormtrooper costume.

Is it a good product?

I would get accurate armor instead of FX. It isn't all that more expensive and a whole lot better in the long run... though... the FX is probably good to practice trimming on, so I dunno.

If you trim the chest-piece you can make it look a lot more authentic.
It makes a big difference in the way that the helmet looks with the armor

I wouldn't say FX armour is close in price to more accurate kits you can pick up a set of FX from $300-$400 a more accurate kit will be twice that.
If you're not an accuracy nut then FX is fine for costuming and a doddle to put together usually comes pretrimmed and it's plenty durable,i would recommend getting a different helmet though.
