Ok, looks like my first ever post on this forum got killed by server problems last night. As Mal Reynolds would say: " It never goes smooth. How come it never goes smooth?" lol
To recap my first thread: I have a resin ANH DL-44 I'd like to outfit with wood grips. I've got a potential deal lined up to get a set, problem is I'm in Canada, the grips are in the US. Since the seller business is real pistol grips/parts, he can only label the package as exactly what it is. My concern is that Canada/US customs will take one look at a package marked "Pistol grips" and seize it :angry(if I'm lucky) or worse :eek(if I'm not).
Does anyone here know if pistol grips are considered a restricted item by Canada customs? Or better yet, is there anyone here that makes or sells replica blaster grips (and has shipped to Canada without difficulties)?
