Advice on covering foam with fabric...

Hi...
Anybody have any firsthand knowledge on covering up an Eva foam build with fabric.
Kinda like the college mascot and theme park characters.
Type of fabric, glues, any tips etc.
Watched a few YouTube vids but didn't get anything specific out of them.
Thanks in advance for any input.

The types of adhesive that comes to mind are either hot glue or contact cement. Fabics could be any type heavy enough that can't be seen through.

Oh yeah, I do that stuff all the time. What kind of project exactly? It all depends on the shapes you're using and types of fabric you have in mind.
