Advice on a durable Clear Coat for Flash Hiders?

Hey guys! Finishing up an ESB DL-44 build and was wondering what clear you guys would use for the flash hider?

I used future floor wax on my last DL-44, but it still rubbed through after pulling in and out of the holster a couple of times. I then coated it with clear 2 part epoxy which is way more durable, but is far too glossy.

Any advice is appreciated!

Maybe throw a flat clear over the gloss? It will rub off over time but it will take the gloss away.

Yeah, do what Cameron said. Heh. Do a few coats and give it time to cure when you're done.
