My 13 year old son loves Adventure Time, and when the pandemic hit, along with me losing my job of 22years, I asked him if he wanted to do a project together. He said, “Let’s make the Enchiridion!” I didn’t know what it was, but he quickly showed me some pics and some episodes, and the work began.
The book is a blank journal and is huge and heavy. We first heavily weathered the leather with sand paper, knives, shoe polish, and such. The corners are styrene with real screw heads. I painted the graphics with acrylics, and sealed it all with mod podge. It took us a few months but we just got it done.
Best of all was working with my boy side by side.
