Adult Swim Tim & Eric show - WTF? Who watches this crap?

I flipped on the tv last night and had watched Family Guy the previous night so it was still on the channel. That Tim & Eric show was on and this has to be the most childish stupid show in existence. It's a couple idiots just making sounds and stupid faces. I think it may amuse a 5th grader, but it's apparently for adults. Do people actually watch this crap?

Ugh, I've hated this show ever since it came about. I don't see HOW this show even survived and or even got picked up to air! What Cartoon Network needs to do is bring back new seasons of Harvey Birdman and DROP this horrible POS they call a "show"

I remember they would show that "Terry Green Machine" episode every night for like a month.

I hate it but it was so short until the next program I watched it anyway. I could quote it almost exactly, and I think my brain rotted a little.

Be glad it's done though right? Now they have "Check it out!" which if you watched PBS as a kid is funny (Not really, just want to put you through some more pain):sick. It's like a public access show gone horribly wrong. The BBC show "Look Around You" is very similar.

I admit the first episode of "Children's Hospital" was an alright satire. What I really want is new Venture Bros and Dethklok!

I love the show, honestly. I know it's not for everyone, and some episodes are terrible, but overall I love it.

I really get a kick out of the editing.

The sad part is these 2 guys did a show called Tom goes to the Mayor, which I actually liked for the most part, but I agree. Tim/Eric awesome show is horribly unfunny. They get a lot of people to do cameos on it, though. Ed Begley, Jr., Ted Danson, Paul Rudd, Ben Stiller, John C. Reilly, Zach Galifin...Galfink...Ganifil...the guy from The Hangover.

It's supposed to be so stupid that if nothing else... you have to laugh at how bad it is.
At least, that's the premise as best as I can explain it to someone who hasn't watched it.

personally I like the show, but I don't think I'd ever watch it solo. Generally it's what we turn on after the drinking and partying dies down. And I don't really even do that so much anymore...

yeah... T&E isn't for everyone, but i'm a huge fan. i grew up watching UHF and YOUNG EINSTEIN, so AWESOME SHOW is right up my alley. i love oddball, non-mainstream comedy. these guys did what THEY thought was funny, not what the focus groups told them. i have a huge respect for that.

I catch Buffy on Logo (the gay channel) and they have a show on there called Geoffery and Cole Casserole, It's just as stupid, and I'm up in the air as to which show is more "Gay" in a Homosexual vs Lame way.

Adult swim has gone to crap since it started. All these really dumb live action shows are aimed at stoners I swear. Part of the problem is that there are more channels carrying Japanese animation so adult swim can't afford as many shows as they did in the past and lets face it most American made cartoons aren't very good: Squidbillies is a good example and they lost out on Futurama.

i'm FAR from a stoner and i love nearly everything on adult swim, sans anime. nothing makes me turn the channel faster than adult swim anime.

Yeah - it seems like after Aqua Teen that now they are just weird for weirdness sake. These shows WILL be the ones looked back on by future generations the same way we view the incredible storytelling involved with The Brady Bunch Variety Hour.

That show is pure funny, but you either love it or hate it.

They are known as the comedian's comedians.

If you watch the show long enough you will see some of the really big names they have on.

There is something to it.

Never heard of it, but went straight to youtube and checked out 'Sports', a musical number. I laughed loudly. Any sketch that calls a beach ball a 'sand sphere' or a frisby a 'flight wheel' is GOODNESS. Will be checking out more, thanks for the heads up.
