Suggestion Addition of a general prop building technique/tips/tutorials type section?

IDK if it's been brought up before, but I find myself (now, actually, which is why I was thinking this!) needing to ask for suggestions, opinions and the like when it comes to the technical things, for example: "What type of filler is better VS this brand," or "what is the proper painting preparation technique for 'X' material."

Just general questions like that. I find myself unsure where to really post these kinds of things, but mainly have just stuck to the "replica movie props" section as that seems to be the more relevant spot currently.

Anyone else feel the same?
