Adam's 2014 Model Contest Entry

So I'm looking at building a replica of the Fallout New Vegas Pipboy. I've been wanted to make one of these for a while now and this contest just kind of gave me a reason to start. I don't have much experience at modeling unless you count digital modeling. I'm an ok sculptor with clay and so I think that will be my medium of choice. Haha my tip for anybody would be to learn as many mediums as you can, I haven't and so I'm stuck with clay but if I could use actual metal this would be fantastic. Also in the picture is one of my references just as an example in case some of you haven't played the game I'm more so hoping it looks good in the end but if I place at all that would be nice too.

I've made some good progress I think I added a buckle strap to the back because it would a little difficult to add a hinge to it so it could be all the way around and still go on your wrist.
