This guy kept this outfit on throughout the concert. I would have died. When you fanboy this hard, you get your picture posted. Check out the leopard shoes. The only upgrade he needed were some black leathers and he could be in the band.

Thank you very much blueblackhussar antwarrior71 . Still a long way to go, so hopefully we can keep bringing the goods. My hopefuls, currently, are the 80's belt buckles. I am trying to get up the courage to get back into 3d design so I can put up some printables here for my fellow Ant fans. If you come across any source materials feel free to add them here. Some of my links to items are short lived and are sometimes available and sometimes not. That makes it really important to type out the details on how you found it. Sometimes the how will lead to a new source the second time around. If you see me skip a step on a build and want to know how on that step, let me know. I am trying to make sure it is repeatable for anyone reading it.
Now I need to boot everyone out of the room so I can watch this documentary with full sound. This covers nearly his entire life story in short order. I'll post again when I can absorb this. Hopefully will have some good stand and deliver stuff soon. Adam had his mental battles, mine are 100 percent serving size related.
So, I was checking out the video that goldcylon posted and I saw my picture of my boots a couple posts up from that and again saw the pig in the picture, under the table in the background. Months after I posted it the first time. I can affirm that I got up just now and retrieved the squeaky pig toy. I squeezed it one time and I hear a snort but not from the pig. My dog is now in the room and sees that I have found his pig and is letting me know he wants it. I tossed it to him. He sniffed it once and took it back to his bed. I haven't heard from either since then, he is now sleeping with his pig.

I am looking for some decent boots. Adam is a huge inspiration in the way I dress.( In fact reading his autobiography changed my life)I have gone from t shirt and jeans to full on dandy. I try to get the aesthetic right then add my own twist.

...but the cherry on the cake was your likeness to Adam's face that was uncanny

I am trying to get some good links for other boot sources as mine were customized to match but ONLY because I could not wait for shipping times. I have two good sources for these and will post when I get into my favorites today. These are hussar boots but there are several brands that claim to be but these are Russian ethnic dance boots, not riding boots. mine are riding boots.

Our convo about the stage boots for the 2016 Performance outfit starts with one post on March 12th and jumps to April 20th.
The ethnic dance boots that look to be a direct match to Adam's are RusClothing brand but I am looking for the other site so you can compare. just remember that my final boots came from a local equestrian store and are standard English style men's riding boots that I modified.
RusClothing calls theirs Cossack Dance boots but don't think all Cossack boots are the same. I can only say RusClothing Cossack boots look like a match

well, poop, the other site I had saved is closed, was an Etsy seller. So just this RusClothing. they have their own site but also sell through Amazon. the only bad ratings are for very long waits after ordering.

So, I am sure we all remember the incredible length of effort we spent to find the two pistols used in the Stand And Deliver video. After much ado and seeing that it never quite matched perfectly to any historic pistol but instead had some of several mashed into one, the discovery was, Adam was holding a reproduction pistol that was not quite historically accurate. The lesson here? In order to match Adam's pistol, we needed to get the same repro he did. The same, made for import, 80's repro. Which we successfully did.
So, today I am sitting in the autoshop, waiting to get two new tires on my car. I reach over and grab a hunting magazine in this huge stack of like 50 magazines in the waiting room. In the front is a section about price quoting, model identification and authenticity. They like the odd ones. A man says he has a pistol that looks to have a replacement barrel and wants to know what the original looks like. He is a collector but can't quite pin down what this gun is historically. The appraisor says something like, "Well it is a repro barrel on a different repro gun but the original barrel was just round with no ornamentation." He then gives the history and we are shown this:
I say, "Really, Fate? Really? Some slack, please..."

I was digging through my pile of saved searches and found my old listings for buckles for sale, namely the skull and crossbones. In one of the listings I had downloaded (the 'save page' option) it has a BACKSIDE PHOTO!!!!! Adam's skull and bones buckle is Baron Buckle branded 1979 solid brass with item code 6139.
Searching on "Baron Buckle 6139" you get ebay and amazon listings as well as many photos.
Many old but some new listings for originals. If anyone wants to take a stab at printing a flat one, the image above is as near as it gets.
My hope is to get an original and 3d scan it for upload as stl, here. If not, I need to stretch my wings a bit and buy zbrush and sculpt one for stl.
But this was cool finding a legit model for the original so everyone can seaech and hopefully purchase one for scanning.
