Question Access Denied To Thread In The Junkyard

DARTH ANIBAL

Sr Member
I just got this message when I tried to follow a link to a thread in the JY:

DARTH ANIBAL, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. If you are attempting to create a thread in the Junkyard forum, please be aware that you will not be able to create threads until you have been a member for at least 45 days and have a minimum of 20 posts.
  2. If you are attempting to access the Off-Topic forums, you will not be able to do so until you have been a member for at least 45 days and have a minimum of 20 posts.
  3. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  4. The administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What gives?

The thread was likely moved into the admin only section for review or moderation. At least, that's what I'm guessing from past examples.

This thread is more than 10 years old.

Your message may be considered spam for the following reasons:

  1. Your new thread title is very short, and likely is unhelpful.
  2. Your reply is very short and likely does not add anything to the thread.
  3. Your reply is very long and likely does not add anything to the thread.
  4. It is very likely that it does not need any further discussion and thus bumping it serves no purpose.
  5. Your message is mostly quotes or spoilers.
  6. Your reply has occurred very quickly after a previous reply and likely does not add anything to the thread.
  7. This thread is locked.
