Thanks everyone - My mom has got to get all the credit for the sewing on the material parts though - I can only hand sew and that would have taken an eternity. She worked without a pettern too, just constant fittings on me, but I think she did an amazing job!

I am going to have another crack at the blades, when I'm not working to a deadline, I can spend more time making sure everything works properly! Firstly though I'm going to build a prop set 3 part metal version that shoots out and is maually rewound - I just think it looks really cool when they shoot out from nowhere
