AA / DST Enterprise B, Excelsior, and WOK Communicator

Hey guys... anyone know when and if the DST Enterprise B, Excelsior, and WOK Communicators are planned for??? Apparently they had all of those at the 2009 Toy Fair. I remember seeing pics of the WOK Phaser and even the Geo Tricorder... but until just now I dont recall seeing the two ships or the WOK Communicator. Anyone have pics of the communicator? Below are the two ship pics I just found. Sure do hope these come through. I remember when playmates did both of these ships...but those bastards just changed the box art and had a different decal for the ship name. From these pics (although im assuming they are prototypes) it looks like they really took care to detail each of the ships correctly. I guess once you have the general mold its much less expensive to just chance the detailing, but either way I would love to grab these up. As long as we are on the subject, any gossip on other releases. I know the D's and the TOS Tricorders took FOREVER, but im hoping there are some more fun things to look forwards to (other than 5 variants of the Enterprise 1701 and 8 different paint jobs on TOS phasers)

They would both be really great. If these are representative of the final product (although im still waiting for one of you with the inside scoop to tell me these are being made) they really went above and beyond. I see more and more as I look at these pics thats is not just some repaint. I love the subtle differences with the shape and style of the nacelles, the round body of the Excelsior versus the fin-ed out Enterprise down by the deflector. Hell, even the saucer shape is different with the impulse engines on the B. Certainly is more involved than just doing a battle damaged repaint or something like that. Just as a point of order, did the nacelles light up on the excelsior at all?

These will probably be pretty cool when (if) they come out, just keep in mind what you have pictured above are prototypes based on the old AMT/ERTL model kits and are not representative of the final product.

Yea... Kinda like how they rocked out the HMS TOS Tricorder last year at ToyFair as a mega tease... All the same, I wish they were able to crank out product.

I've never really been disappointed in the AA ships. I just picked up the Enterprise D regular version, and it kicks ass. I'll pick up both of these. I've also heard rumors about a Reliant and D7 Klingon Battlecruiser coming up!

Well the 'All Good Things" Enterprise is amazingly well done. If they keep up with that level of quality Ill be happy.

Trekmovie.com also reiterates that the TWOK communicator is on schedule for late-2009. I think it looks cool, but I've totally lost track of the TWOK phaser. I've been looking forward to it, but I'm really hoping that the delay allows them to address the screw holes that marred the prototype. It'd be so great for this model to turn out all sleek and zappy.

If the new Ent-D's are any indication of what they intent to continue producing im happy to wait (forever) for these new ships and pick up all of em. I just got my AGT Ent-D (the regular D is still on the way to me!) and its really amazing. They did a great job. The detailing is far superior to any "toy" ever made, the electronics are wonderful and well thought out, and finally a separating saucer as icing on the cake. The only weird thing is the little hole plugs...

So how big are the Excelsior and Enterprise B? Its about time the Excelsior class was given a bit of attention :lol All we need now is for Polar Lights to make a 1/350 kit and I'll be happy :thumbsup
