I started this project years ago before I knew another one existed (displayed at Light And Magic). I can't tell you how helpful the many posts here on Han Solo in Carbonite projects were! Thank you so much!!!

Total cost ran about $500. Because this prop's existence in the Star Wars universe is sketchy at best, I took a lot of artistic license to keep costs down. The stand, lights, and control panels are all removable to allow for easy travel if needed. I give a lot of detail in the video at the end of this post.

Here he is in the dark, displayed with lighting similar to Jaba's Palace.

HIC builders might note there's no weathering. I tried to weather him, but due to the clothes not being perfectly smooth, it was very difficult to get the color right because it was impossible to buff and work the wash. So, he's pretty new looking. Here's a picture before paint

Thanks again so much for the inspiration!

this is ingenious! I love it! very very creative! I was going to ask what that bump was. then I watched the video to learn it was his ears! I forgot about that.

I love how u pulled off how realistic as accurate u made jar jar out of house hold items. i also think the panels came out awesome for a budget

I love HIC builds but also love how u pulled off accurate you made it with every day items ( Honda emblem, Manson bucket and your own electronics)

all I can say is "wicked!!!!"
