guys,
quick couple of questions

has anyone experience with using latex moulds for casting silicon masks?

can it be done?

ive used latex a lotin the past, for plaster and concrete casting but never used it for casting silicon.
can it be done?

Silicone will not dry in a latex mold, you'll get inhibition. You could maybe seal the mold off to work but not even sure why you would want to take he risk. Fiberglass or urethane is what I would recommend for mold materials in that order.

Thanks finhead.
I was considering latex as I'm very familiar with it and have lying around all the time for moulding.
But I think I'll order some polyurethane rubber for the mould
