A New Look for the RPF!

Okay, first .... know that as a fellow designer I HATE when people do this to me .... and this is of course total coincidence. But I saw a real estate sign on the way to work today. With this logo. It means nothing ... Just caught my eye.

Milwaukee Commercial Real Estate - Commercial, Office, Industrial, Retail and Investment Real Estate Firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - RFP Commercial, Inc.

Too funny.

I like the new logo. Well, done.

That is surprisingly similar!

I'm really digging the new logo. It seems like a design that would look really good carved down into something vs. set in relief. The logo also seems very OT SW, but this is coming from a guy that still loves the late-70's-80's logo aesthetics from stuff like Gundam and Battletech.

Can't really get behind the tagline, but a good part of that is conditioning. My main art professor in undergrad would hammer into us that "Craft is when you're not making something good enough to call art. Craft is googly eyes and white glue. Craft is assembling Ikea furniture for your final project. etc."

But talking about designs showing their age, I don't think I've changed my signature in 5 years, and it sure shows. I never even corrected the capitalization errors on it. :lol

Not that you don't have almost 15 pages of suggestions already but I'd be remiss in not offering a few alternates.

Professionally Fanmade

"Topgrade Fanmade"

"Fine replica arts" (yeah, old pun but appropriate)

What are you guys using as a base for your photoshopping?
Any way we could get the logo in a vectorised form to get good clean lines?

Sent from my GT-N7000

We will be supplying vector formats for you guys to use once we have the new logo in place.

My iphone homepage link RPF icon changed to the new logo. It threw me off for a second

The tagline is brilliant!

The new logo looks great, though the old one looked great as well. I'm sure it will grown on me more as time goes on.

I never got conditioned that way. When I hear craft, I think of old timey craftsmen, the blacksmiths and carpenters and masons and such.

Two different uses. I agree if you are referring to someone's "craft". However if you are going to "craft" something it sounds like mom with her scrapbook to me.

As I said though, taglines period are a bit dated and can only paint you into a corner IMO. As long as it's not plastered everywhere I could care less though. Just make sure that the merchandise has an option without the tag please!

That's quite scary. Has the new RPF logo been recasted? :lol
