A couple Blade Runner blaster questions for the experts

Just bought the Tomenosuke blaster kit, and as I understand it the metal parts are all bare metal. My intention is to go for the original movie look which was blued. Any recommendations for a bluing brand or is there differences? I’ve never blued anything before. I also have a stainless barrel coming for it to be blued. Unfortunately it looks like the grips are the wrong color amber (too light) does anyone make accurate color grips? Advice or suggestions are appreciated!

The grips alone look light in color, but once you attach them to the pistol grip, which is largely black, they’ll appear darker.

The grips that come with the kit are much paler than the original prop. I found a set of darker ones though. Has anyone used any real bulldog parts on their gun? I ordered a cylinder to replace the plastic one the kit provides. I hear it will fit and work, guess I’ll find out here soon.
