Upon research, and low funds I searched the stores looking for a cheaper substance than bondo , I discovered Elmer's wood filler and it works a lot better and sanding is extra easy, and it does not dry too fast unless your using a dry blower which takes about 3 minutes , so if there is any questions about this product I will be more then happy to answer our questions, and also an Important tip; Secure the prop from the inside to be nonflexible to prevent it from cracking or you can use fiberglass resin also. and excuse my spelling error. 51TtAfjbmsL__SY300_.jpg

I've heard of some folks using this stuff. It's about $12 a quart locally.... I use this and it binds really well to the plastic... and its $5. I'll bet you get less smell with the elmers.

Yes it also does not cause a chemical warfare lol, and I only attempted it on cardboard so far but thanks for the info on plastic which I plan to use when making copys of helmets with my own templates using the vacuum form, and I also found an all purpose filler with 42 lbs of it at the walmart supercenter for about $14 believe it or not lol, and it also saves a lot of time and more profit in your pocket instead of buying bondo body filler.

Yeah, a lot of us have been using wood filler for a while.

Drywall filler also works pretty well. Very easy to sand. The dust it makes is the only negative for using it.
