Right, so he's not 100% finished, but here is my 1:6th Nathan Drake custom.

The headsculpt is a slightly modified Soldier Story "Red Army Infantry" head.
Body is a caucasian TrueType Advanced.
Jeans and shoes are from a Powerteam figure.. weathering was accomplished via. bleach and coffee (mostly around the heels).
Uzi is from the Sideshow Franz Sanchez.
A.K. and flashlight are from G.I. Joe figures.
Pouch I'm not sure, or the beretta.
Shirt, belt, holster-rig, and necklace wi. Ring are all custom, hand made by me.
The watch is powerteam with a leather band beneath.
His journal is the wrong color but all hand drawn.
I had to join two smallish neckposts for the neck. didn't do the best job and honestly, it needs replaced :/

I love Uncharted and this is really cool. I especially like the mini ring on the necklace, good job including it. Kudos!

I actually post on onesixthwarriors and sideshowcollectors. I'm on a couple of other sites but not very active. I tend to use the same username as here.

edit:
Thanks, I actually had hoped that the ring would come out just a hair larger in diameter but I can live with it as-is. It's actually silver, so that helps ;)

I forgot to mention, the white undershirt is nothing more than a dickey, it's actually sewn onto the outer shirt as I was making it. The white sleeves are much the same.. just little bits at the end.
If I desired, the sleeves are full sleeves and can be pulled all the way down.
The shirt buttons are made from sheet styrene that I punched out with a leather punch (for belts lol) and drilled two small holes in using a dremel with a needle chucked up in it.

I actually have 1:6th versions of almost all of the game's weapons (along with the ones from the first game) so I could potentially pose him with just about any combination.

Are you planning on making any other characters? I'd get a kick out of a Sully figure, complete with interchangeable heads with his different "expressions" (see: Drake's journal). lol

you know, I actually have one that could probable be re-worked a little for Sully.
It's not perfect, but I could probably get it pretty close...

I was bored last night so I made a display diorama/weapons wall for my figure.
P1100070.jpg

used a couple of methods to create the floor..
P1100071.jpg

as I've mentioned (possibly elsewhere) I have or have made most of the weapons

I figures a couple of propane tanks couldn't hurt ;)

Looks like the only weapon you're missing is the crossbow from single player. :lol Those bloody propane tanks are a pain in the multiplayer... :angry

Good job again!

I've found a scaled crossbow or two that would work, but they tend to be out of stock :( heck, I had to MAKE the FN-FAL.

Finally got the crossbow and I'm starting to pick up the new guns from 3.
I also decided to upgrade to a new head (and use the other one for "Joker" from Full Metal Jacket)

I never did find a proper 1:6th FAL so I replaced the one I made with a G3.

Nate looks excellent and the detail work is amazing.

Ron

Thank you. I tend to work with scraps but manage to make them work. :lol I've been a fan of your work for some time. Been seeing it on OneSixthWarriors and SideshowCollectors for a while now and you always do an amazing job.

the second head is an improvement

agreed, the first head resembled Ben Affleck (in my opinion) too much. This one still isn't perfect but works for me.

very nicely done. love the weapon wall - with the outlines :D

haha yeah, the outlines were more for me than the wall.. that way I can swap them out on the figures and still put them back where they go (makes moving the whole thing easier too as I can put all of the guns in a box and still know where they belong.)

Just wanted to show where I got the new head..
Monkey Depot - Figure: Soldier Story CCT Exclusive
I modified the head so it would work on the hot-toys neck and used the body for something else. (It's a good body but I preferred the hot-toys advanced body for Drake over the Soldier Story one.)
Like I said, the head isn't dead-on perfect but it's closer than the previous one I was using. :unsure

I've started putting together an Uncharted 3 version of Drake.
looking for opinions on which holster rig I should make.
Normal holster... similar to the Drake's Fortune version but the mag pouch is horizontal instead of vertical.

(the bandolier appears to be a Turkish WWI bandolier like the one worn by Omar Sharif in Lawrence of Arabia)

Alright, so I got a few (8) baseball grenades in the mail.. decided to make my UC2 Drake more accurate.
P1120284.jpg

P1120285.jpg

I really need to work on his belt buckle..
P1120287.jpg

I still had the patterns for when I made his shirt, so I decided to modify them slightly for the UC3 look and the new body.
P1120288.jpg

Oh, I made a holster based on the one seen in multiplayer (at least) and will be working on the desert scene holster/bandolier soon.
I modified a sig to look more like a Walther P99
P1120289.jpg

Found a rifle that resembles the one in UC3 as the "M9"
P1120290.jpg

Got the correct horizontal orientation on the magazines.
P1120291.jpg

and it's starting to look like the Uncharted 3 Beta in here...

I've been looking for a material that would replicate or simulate the look of a thermal shirt in 1:6.
Basically, I'm trying to replicate this look.
firstlooku310.jpg

Now, it's unfinished, I haven't added buttons, the sleeves are not yet attached, the pocket is WAY too high, and I haven't dyed it yet but this is where I am.
P1120414.jpg

P1120415.jpg

P1120416.jpg

What I can see that needs altered right off the bat is the neck of the shirt. needs to be a little wider and drop a little more in the front.
Not something I can't do (if I make another one) but I don't think I'll alter this one more than attaching the sleeves and dying it.
