Wasn't sure where else to post this, so apologies if it is in the wrong section


My question is, does anyone know where i can see this documentary? I have searched the net up and down and found nothing. Apparently it was released back April 2007 and there are trailers all over the net but no film :confused
Most links tell you to check the official site, but it doesn't give much away as to how to get hold of the film.

Does anyone have it or know where i can see it :confused :confused :confused

netflix . they don't have it out yet ,i could only save it to my querie, and it doesn't have a release date yet
 
Yeah follow the above link.

I would wait because I think it is coming out on Dvd eventually although I'm not 100 percent sure..
 
Yup, it will make it to DVD I am just not sure what kind of release, or where it will be released. The time line I had heard was mid next year, with luck into March maybe , but again that is heresay.

I will put a bug into someone sear that I know and see if I can get a more accurate info.
 
OK. I was waiting on Sanjuro to wade in here with an update, but it looks like he's not seen this tread yet. (He's a member of the RPF and the director of this documentary.)

I really can't say too much about this project right now for legal reasons.

I can tell you that the project is not dead. The film is done and "in the can" (so to speak). The final version has been passed to a distribution company (can't say who) and, like many other big projects, the company is asking for a lot from the production team right now.

The paperwork has been flying back and forth between the company and the producers, but there seems to be a never-ending stream of paperwork.

What I can say is the "generic" answer we've been using for everyone who has written in to the site...

Because of the deal with the distribution company, we've had to cease marketing the film (removing it from festivals and conventions) and removing all product from the website until the deal is finalized and the last of the paperwork is completed.

I know it seems like a long while, and it has been... but dealing with distributors and lawyers and all the paperwork is taking quite a while.

Please continue to support this project (talk about it, ask media outlets about it, generate buzz) and please be patient. No one is more anxious than the production team of HOAE to get this film "out there" for everyone to see.

I hope you can understand and appreciate why we, legally, can't answer too many specific questions right now.

Well here's to wishing you get the film released sooner rather than later. Please keep us updated, as i for one would really love to see this and can't wait (y)thumbsup:thumbsup
 
Was this movie ever released? Or is it the same content as the documentary that will be on the Star Wars blu rays?
 
I have a copy, they are hard to come by. I was actually in it along with my son, who was only one at the time ;) Got my 1 min of fame and was able to speak my mind. Kind of cool, I am listed in the IMDB now ;)
