I am not versed enough in the original or its iterations. That being said I am also not a massive rivet counter. I know there were liberties taken with things including panel lines. But at this size its very damn good.

As with lots of this stuff, I do I dont ever try to be a replicate of the exact filming miniature. I don't have the time nor desire to dot for dot for dot stuff. I always just try to make something cool while hitting major landmarks. Lots of this will be toned back but it's also going in a retail location with unknown lighting to me. Also its just loose fit for transport.

Merlin models (I found them on facebook) sells files so you can print this yourself - and for some models (this one) you can buy the models printed and ready for asssembly. prices are on their facebook page - or you can IM them (on facebook)
