5 day speedbuild Destiny warlock, just in time for the midnight launch maybe

Yo! So, heres the deal. I decided that I'd like to go to the destiny launch party at my local microsoft store in costume, and I decided today. As you can tell, I'm amazing at planning.

Here's what I've got so far!





5 days and counting, lets do this.

End of day 1! I'm hoping to sand the chin of the helmet down tomorrow morning, and possibly start laying the bones out to reshape the cheeks of the helmet. Most of this build is just using stuff i've got left over from my red hood suit and attempted sunspot suit, but I think its looking pretty ok

Day 2 finished, along with the helmet. I'm overly excited for this game.

Awesome job man, looki'n super. is that by any-chance a reach EVA helmet with mods? (I may need to finish mine as a guardian helmet...hmm.) For the guns, possibly either a Nerf maverick, barricade, or strong-arm may work with mods for a duke mk.44-ish-thing (pics below).By the way... as I type, it's preloading on my xbox one, so stoked. best of luck!

Great build going on here! I'm starting a Hunter build real soon, already started on the helmet.

I found one of this gun on ebay, should be real easy to mod it into a Hand Canon which I plan on doing.


Maybe even just check a Pound/Dollar store nearby and see if they have any cheap hand guns that would easy mod into a Hand Canon.
I saw somebody modded a Nerf Centurion into a Sniper. If I remember where I found it I'll put a link to that too.

I ended up using a nerf stryfe rifle, with a stock and barrel extension for the gun. I'm going to see if I can pick up some more white spraypaint to cover the red strip on the main body of the gun though, Im not too happy with how it turned out

This is looking great! How did you do the visor for the helmet and can you see out of it?

Thanks for the kind words Sam!

For the visor, i sprayed a very light mist of baby blue paint on the inside, testing visibility after every pass, then followed it up with a misting of chrome paint, also checking the visibility. Its not the best visor tinting, as everything looks kinda fuzzy, but i can see out of it!
