You know that feeling you get when your show comes on? All giddy and a rush of energy?

Well, post your Top 5 best show intros!

    Mine are
    1.Dexter
(Perfect intro, shows how he starts his day and how it looks like he's murdering every minute of it. Song is a prefect fit and hasn't gotten old yet.)

    (great song, okay collage)

    3.American Horror Story
(reminds me of se7en, good score)

    4.Star Trek: Voyager

    5.The X-Files

Order of shows doesn't indicate which one is the best:

    Psych
    The New Batman/Superman Aventures
    Eureka
    Warehouse 13
Star Trek: Voyager, (Way too long, but good music.)

    Forgot three:
    Enterprise

Ark II! To this day, if we get turned around or a bit lost in the car, I'll say to my fam: "I, Jonah, Ruth, Samuel, and Adam... are fully aware of the dangers we face as we enter into unknown and possibly even hostile areas."

A lot of new shows don't even have intros. What the hell is wrong with TV now? Bring on the cheesy intros. :thumbsup

Oh, man. I forgot Gilligan, which makes me think of, The Munsters!

They were on back to back after school in 77...then Ultraman came on!

****, nothin' better than a Pop-Tart and some Ultraman.

    :$

UFO.(Gerry Anderson, UK) beacause the electric roc-a dellic pace serves to manipulate the mood of the viewer perfectly and captures the Zeitgeist of the time. Six Million Dollar man works just as well. Wonder Woman for the backing vocals.
Shout out to Sapphire and Steel for Colin Droidmilk's list, and Batman for the Superhero guys.
I Deam of Jeannie for the latin beat inspiration that says "Hollywood in the sixties"...
Judge Judy for no frills voice over.
The Brady Bunch for interesting use of comic book like frames and catchy theme music, (thanks Sherwood) The Wonder Years for the gravel and soul of the vocals and so many more.

AS to why they are all old.

    Please hold for analysys:

Speculative Answer: Because TV was the in thing at the time (man)...now it's the Web.:)

No one has mentioned Law and Order yet?!

And MASH wasn't mentioned 'till the second page?!

While I never really watched the show, "my generation" all knows the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire song by heart...
