This is my second post in the Replica Prop Forum (The first was in the Sreen Used Props section). Now I would like to show you another model I have in my collection. The 44 inches Eagle Transporter model. That is a replica and not a screen used prop.
Here are the pictures of the Eagle. I hope to enjoy them.

Superb job Nektarios!

I'm getting close too Lee. I just need to get a hold of Deuce to finish up the passenger pod chairs for 3d printing.

Looks awesome.

Tell us how you got it.

I started building one and then went back to Star Wars projects. One day!

Wow! Yes, do tell us where that thing came from. Just this morning I was going through David Sisson's restoration of the original 44" so this really caught my attention.

Thank you all for your kind words. I bought the Eagle a few months ago from a model maker in the United Kingdom. It is really a very impressive replica of the Eagle.

If it is built using a brass frame and aluminum parts it should be in around 35 lbs. The are a few resin based cages and spine assemblies out there that come in about 20 lbs. The resin may sag over time though so constant base support would likely be required. Brass is SS accurate but the cost and work is much higher. This rear engine assembly alone weighs in at around 8 lbs. Not mine but similar. Mine is still in pieces!

Once again. A really nice addition to any collection. How are you going to display it? Coffee table style. The acrylic case alone is enough to hurt the wallet!

Chris Trice's excellent work, as seen on All Sections Alpha. There's no better site for absolutely anything Eagle-related! What the collective membership doesn't know about the Eagle miniatures never happened! ;)
