Hi guys building a pair of Nike mag boots and orderd the strap so from Markpoon ,

I've tried his panel out and it works fine,I then orderd a A5 el panel from EL crafts UK and I've cut it into 4 pieces 8cm x 11cm and tried to run one of them with markpoons inverters and battery and nothing happens, the circuit is from the battery, inverter to el panel and nothing lights up but this circuit works since I've used markpoons panel to check, the system is 3volts and since people use 3volt systems on here I thought it would be fine. Can any one shead some wisdom ??

Best regards
Brad

You cannot light up a large a5 sheet with a tiny 3v circle inverter.

A large sheet will only work with 12v or 9v.

That tiny 3v circular inverter is only able to light up a tiny surface area such as the strap.

The only 3v inverter that is useable is the rectangular one as that can light up a bigger surface area.

You are not going to be able to light up the strap and soles with that circle inverter. Simple as that.

And not many people are using 3v systems. Most are using 9v.

Some have used a 3.7v lithium battery, but I have used 2 x AAA batteries.

If you are struggling with el panel then a 3v led circuit is going to cause you more problems, as you have to solder more than the 9v one.

The tiny circle 3v inverter will only lightup the strap and nothing else.
Those are the facts.
