Hi All,

Apologies if I have posted this in the incorrect thread.

I am looking into purchasing a 3dconnexion mouse to assist me my main job role creating 3d models for a Facilities Management Design Team and also for my personal hobby of creating 3d models.

I am want to know if there is anybody on the site which uses one of these mice and give me any tips, tricks or general advise on getting the best usage. I am mostly using AutoCAD and Google SketchUp.

Thanks in advise for your assistance.

Regards
Rob

I just bought one today and it took me 10 minutes to get used to. It's still really slow, but it feels so natural! I remember it took me 2 weeks to get used to a Wacom tablet (for painting). I hope I get efficient fast with the wireless 3DConnexion. Worth buying for professionals.

Mine is a 7 years old Space Navigator for laptop. But its connected to my desktop. Mainly use for Revit. Occasionally in 3dmax and photoshop. I only used it for zooming panning and orbiting. But for me this is a must have for computer graphic user.

Many thanks for your assistance. I made my decision on Xmas Day and ordered the SpaceNavigator for notebooks which arrived on the 27th. Couldn't believe the weight of it and how easy it is to use. Really enjoying the control it is giving me of my models.
