Found a file for an 8th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver kit on Thingiverse. I printed it on my Ender 3 in silver PLA, sanded all the parts with coarse and fine sandpaper, and primed them with filler primer. Most of the parts are super-glued together, except for the pommel and handle, which used two socket set screws. For the main body, I used Rustoleum bright-coat metallic aluminum, and the bullet I painted with Rustoleum gloss apple red. The brass band around the handle is just gold tape, a process similar to the 1996 hero prop.
The emitter extends by pushing the button above the brass band, which releases the spring mechanism inside. Really happy with how this turned out!
