3D Amazing Spider-man costume techniques

The printed suits are looking more and more awesome! I am really impressed.

We have come a long way since the first Spider-man movie in 2001 and the fan Rami suits are almost identical now!

I saw this video of this guys Amazing Spider-man mask that features "3D" honeycomb patter.

He used puff paint. So I figured I'd start a thread to discuss techniques for a "3D" suit.
