Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

Lee, I dunno if you've seen it but evergreen do a sheet of "clapboard" that has a similar ribbing to the zip tie. I thought I'd mention it 'cos the sheet's quite thin, about .75mm...I thought it might be easier to bend and cut if you need something to wrap around a smaller dia..

Also those tie's are from poundworld or poundland..can't remember the difference, anyhoo, they had a couple of different sizes and there's quite a few in the packet so if you want a few LMK.
Bests

Phil

Hey guys, I used the evergreen clapboard for something I've been working on. Its really easy to wrap things. The "ribs" (on the stuff I bought) were 1mm wide. I think they come even finer.

Looks awesome dude. Keeping posting updates.

The top arrow part looks to be from the 1/20 Tamiya Tyrrell 6 wheeler

MT, I think the green part is from the Airfix Matilda. Don't know about the black part.

Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

Hi Julien

The part on the left is from the M16..a bit of the drive...it's a diff I think.., it's not exactly the right part though, but it was the closest thing I had..I wish I knew the correct part..
Anyhoo, as with the rest it's a bit of real, scratch and guess...

Cheers

Here's a pic from the yahoo falcon builders club. I can't quite read the text, as the pic was small to begin with. It definately says tamiya

Anywho..I hope this helps!

Awesome JP ! Thank you !

That's the part I was planning to use on my MF thinking it was not the correct part but close enough (I thought the greeblies on top and bottom of the part were part of the differential part. So now we have to find the parts on top and bottom of it...

So this part is from the 1/35 Chevrolet Long Range (a great TESB donor :)), and you're correct it's Tamiya !

Julien,

I dont have any good pics of the 32" falcon. But I did find this pic and highlighted the part. I believe that still may not be the right part.

Does this help ?

I don't think it's from the chevy either..the fins..(or whatever they are) are evenly spaced on the chevy part but not on the falcon model..

Either way though the chevy part looks closer than what I've used, but what the heck..under paint who's gonna see it..
