is it just me, or did Xerxes look like a raging homosexual, lol. Especially when you see him for the first time riding his throne to come talk to Leonidas, he was stark naked in that awkward pose, LOL. When me and my friends saw that we were rolling dude, LOL.

So THAT's why you jump the gun whenever one has an small tidbit of constructive critisism? OK, sure...

Your criticism is anything but constructive---your "facts" are complete b.s.---now shut your yap before I really tap dance on you.
I warned you yesterday about keeping this **** going---knock it off!

Catfight! Quick Grab The Popcorn.

By the way. One of the biggest homo or bisexuals ruled the world for a long time. Does anybody know who this is?
Cary

That would be Alexander the Great, LOL. It wasn't uncommon in that time for men to be bisexual. They would never admit that they were strictly homo though. But Xerxes did look pretty gay, lol

kinda funny actually cary,,,

alpha males......

i have yet to hear what made this film so great, other than some MTV styled fight scenes. wanna see a great battle scene? here are few. i think are great, but opinions are like.......

Braveheart - first battle

Kingdom of heaven-the knights charge into saladin's army

Lord of the Rings- too many to name

not your speed?

Matrix revolutions-Sentinels break into zion

Anyone????

Yeah Xerxes did look like Ru Paul!
OK Kit, you're right---it wasn't quite up to par with a film like Braveheart or Lord of the Rings.
But---far and away the bestest fight scenes were in Army of Darkness!
carlart

I think and its only a think also ( so dont hang me ) that bisexual tendencies were encouraged in spartan times as it was thought that a spartan warrior would fight harder if his bum chum was gonna get killed.

theres too many fight scenes in too many films to pick one out, but LOTR has to be in top 3.

the reason personally i thought the 300 scenes were so good was they slowed the film down, and there was alot of limbs flying about , with no cut scenes, the limb loss was very well done and showed of some very good special effects.

In our tong, roughly translated, I'd asky you to pry your manhood from under my foot, as I appear to be standing on it. But that probably won't be as funny as it is here...

Irony, maaaan, let it go... Count to ten, breathe, relax, open your comedy-glands!

Haha HeHe clever. You just gotta have the last ******* word, you little smart ass. The only thing you're standing on as ignorance, fuckhead. As for my manhood, that's where your tongue is.
I'm going to tell you for the last time to let this go, but I know you can't help yourself, so go ahead and continue to have your online masturbatory fits.

At this point I will clue some folks in around here as to what kind of America-hating little punk we have here. This isn't just some garden variety twerp know-it-all after a couple of courses with a left wing professor. He sent me a pm yesterday to which I was literally at a loss for words to respond--it was that convoluted. Listen to the UTTER CRAP he uses to describe our country:

Fact Splitter:
When it comes to Frank Miller's 300 vs present day conflicts: all I said was that it's symbolism isn't applicable. If it is applicable by any account, it's with opposite odds: a relative small group of terrorists in Iraq manages to deliver hard hits on both military and civilian targets, all in the name of "freedom". I despise that. But I can relate to them because it is all a matter of perspective. Let's pretend some nation, Belgium for instance, invades your country, decides how you all should live in peace with each other by their system. Now, perhaps most of you will surrender, maybe even cheer because they like Belgian policy. But most likely an underground group will form and rebel against the Belgian agressor. To the Belgians those would qualify as terrorists.

Also, my foremost problem with patriotism is it's form of questionless following. It's in my nature to question everything, and each problem has more faces than one. I didn't post the French/Freedom fries story just for kicks, it has a point.

Nuclear weapons are pointless. Period. Sure, they ended WW2 rather quickly, but as a tactical weapon or as retaliation it has virtually no long lasting advantage... The best thing America has provided is the Marshall plan, which was a constructive way of rebuilding Europe. Placing nuclear weapons and troops here is just an expansion of power, similar in a way that organized crime "protects" local citizens in exchange for profit. It's not that we would be helpless here without the allmighty states or anything. Team America: World police enters the mind when retrospecting the last several years...

Correction: 3500 people died in 9/11, over 3500 where killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. To what cause?

The whole world is living in a post 9/11 world, Carlart, and it is a petty excuse to force control over states that haven't really been a direct threat to your national security. WOMD in Iraq? Not really. Direct links to Al Quaida in Iraq? Rare and poor. Although Hussein wasn't the nicest of men (I could've spat on the *******), he provided one thing in Iraq that hasn't been since US forces invaded: stability.

What's done is done, but it seems more a quest for vengeance than justice.

I can see why you might feel offended by my replies here, but there's no such thing as a superior country or set of laws... So stop acting like you country is the first and has the latter...

With kind regards nonetheless,
Nol / Skullsplitter.

My God, there is so much ignorance here, such a fundamental lack of understanding of reality, such a fountain of revisionist history, I don't even know where to begin. You are exactly what I thought you were, a brainwashed, left wing American hating pacifist. You haven't the faintest clue of what you're talking about. It is pointless to waste anymore time or energy debating you (which isn't terribly difficult). It's like beating up on the handicapped. With people like you espousing your nincompoopery, western civilization hasn't got long to live. When the Muslim hordes now infesting the UK finally destroy it, we'll see who was right, my self assured friend. We'll see then if you think of them as freedom fighters as you wave the white flag of surrender while they cut your head off.

Do me, and yourself a favor---do not respond to this reply---because I will not read it. It will be trashed immediately. Do not continue this on the Lair, as I have chosen not to as well. But in the future, if I want to make an observation on the Lair about something that may or may not tie into something relevant to current events do not chime in and tear down me or my country. I'm warning you, and anyone else who wants a piece. I WILL take a giant **** on you in front of all the other members---trust me.
carlart

------------------------------------------
Now, there you have it. Some of you will no doubt agree with this individual. Others, not. I don't really give a good crap. The act of merely assessing a stupid movie, then describing what I liked about it----applicable parrallels between events in the film and today, is what lit the fire of this snide little twerp and I am ******* sick of it. I don't care if you don't like my country, I don't care if you don't like what we do. Look within before you look elsewhere to criticize, but I guess that's a little tough to do with your head so far up your ass as it obviouisly is. You cherry pick facts to bolster your ****** up arguments like you cherry pick your ass for dingleberries. Neither of these are suitable for public display, you got that? NOW, YOU LET THIS GO OR SO HELP ME I'LL MAKE YOUR PATHETIC ONLINE LIFE MISERABLE---count on it

Oh Carlart, my love... I just don't reach you... But let's call it quits, as we both have our sides in this. Neither is objective enough to be claimed as the absolute truth...
*sticks out hand to shake yours*

xerxes looked like a homo and a trans sexual too
He was drawn that way in the comic too. Still, Xerxes thus was portrayed like a lean, handsome man who had a flamboyant sexual flare... Doesn't make him gay unless you want him to...

Very well, splitter. We will agree to disagree. The last thig I intended is for this my opinon of 300 to turn into a referendum on the Iraq War or anything else. This tet å tet ends here----a promise built on M.A.D. Because I feel there may yet be some hope for you, I invite you to entertain the possibility there is a whole other reality you haven't seen. To that end I have provided the following links for your perusal:

I'm not asking for a book report on this stuff, let alone continuing this on the Lair, It is done here. Peace
