300 Display..... Update and pics added

Hey Guys,
I've got a full set of facial make up appliances for the hunchback character, Ephialtes from 300 and I'm looking for thoughts on how I should display them. They came on a production vaccuform of the actor and I am going to make a plaster cast from this. I'm wondering whether I should go with a basic display and have the appliances fixed into place but not blended or painted to show just how the make-up creates the final look of the character. Alternatively, I could go down the blended and repainted route with sculpted teeth and eyes for a detailed character type display. Any thoughts??

Re: 300 Display ideas

Hey Guys,
Started working on the display this week. I'm going for a battered spartan shield base with a bronzed plaster cast bust of Ephialtes to display the prosthetics on.

I should be painting the bust this weekend and hope to have the prosthetics fitted and the display complete over the weekend.

It is a nice project, but I would suggest the natural route with fake eyes, the bronze is a nice oiece on it's own and completely takes away from your display because it is lost in the prsthetics. It also makes the prosthetics look weird with two bronze eyes. Try a natural version with skin tone and so in, I bet you will be blown away by it and not just content.
